Leading UK network of independent tyre dealers
First Stop is Bridgestone’s network of independent tyre outlets which spans the UK. As part of its work with Bridgestone UK, Nexnet provided a pro-active public relations service to members of the network, raising the profile of each dealership, of the First Stop brand, and of its links with the world’s biggest manufacturer of tyre and rubber products.
Nexnet promoted First Stop to UK consumers as their first port-of-call for any tyre-related issues, but also used the trade media to highlight all the benefits of being a member to other independent dealers. This helped to attract high-calibre outlets and subsequently grow the network.
Activities included announcing new members joining First Stop, business achievements of existing members, and news stories about the different personalities working at dealerships across the country.
As a member of First Stop, outlets were able to participate in Bridgestone UK’s F1 roadshow, where they could host a replica of Michael Schumacher’s championship-winning Ferrari. These were hugely popular with consumers, and Nexnet was able to generate massive media coverage for each event.
